EXCELLENTVerified We had a fantastic time at this place. We were two families in the 4 bedroom apartment. It felt great. The swimming pool was fantastic. We were also just a 15-minute drive from some lovely beaches.Verified We had a lovely family stay at Villa Rodia. The house offers great accommodation and Maria was very helpful at check in. The main attraction however has to be the beautiful swimming pool and lovely terraced gardens. Only downside for us was the incessant barking from local dogs but we did kind of get used to it. Other than that, we really enjoyed ourselves; the village is charming with some lovely restaurants and it was a great base for visiting different parts of the island. We a family with 3 small kids, 2 parents and a grandma and aunt were all so comfortable here and Spiro and Maria were wonderful hosts taking care of all of our needs and letting us discover how wonderful it is to stay in the middle of a greek mountain village wishing driving distance of the most beautiful beaches. The house is comfortable and well crafted. The garden was much more impressive than what we could tell in the listing and we enjoyed the pool and vine covered outdoor seating areas very much. It was quiet, peaceful, off the beaten path but also fun to hear music in the town square nearby. I wish we could have stayed longer. thank you for hosting us by this unique Olive oil factory. The house inside is very dark - one needs to be with the lights on even at daytime. But we then went into the garden and those impressions turned positive. The garden is beautiful, very spacious, and the swimming pool is gorgeous and very clean. It is shared with other two families. Each house has a table with a pleasant shade., where we would spend most of the time reading and playing cards and enjoying long meals. The house has views over the bay of Vasiliki, with Itaca and Cefalonia in the horizon, and over the impressive mountains of Lefkas. The locations is great for those who want to be off the beaten track. The village of Sivros is walking distance from the house, and one can find a great bakery and local tavernas which are particularly good for meat lovers. There are several trekking trails around the house, with waterfalls and beautiful forests of old olive trees and cipreses. Beaches are not easy to reach, unless one drives 20-40min through winding roads. Overall, we found it is a great place to enjoy an authentic Lefkas during the summertime, just do not have great expectations of the inside of the house.Verified Thank you for this wonderful stay ! Big and beautiful yard, super clean and big swimming pool, big accommodation, practical washer and drying racks to clean towels and clothes after a good day at the beach! Bed was confortable. Great location and centralized to head to the most beautiful beaches on the west side of Lefkada. The restaurants close by are all delicious! I believe all accommodations of the villa were full during our stay but we felt like we had the whole villa to ourselves! Most of the time we had the backyard to ourselves + the pool! Owners are caring and sweet! As it is highly private, we felt very safe although the village was very quiet and small. Loved also the museum tour next door!
